About This Association

The Geospatial Information & Technology Association, founded in 1982 and re-launched in 2022, is the nonprofit product technology showcase for the GIS industry, providing unbiased, world-class information on geospatial technologies. We have a rich history mirroring the rapid, early growth of our profession. Our past leaders have served at GIS's pinnacle. Our association has four pillars: Scholarship, Education, Recognition, and Mentorship.
