About This Association

The National Seasoning Manufacturers Association is the trade association representing the blended seasoning industry. NSMA was founded in 1973 to address issues arising from supplying seasonings to USDA inspected plants. Our role expanded to represent industry's interests with the regulatory agencies. Face-to-face meetings with USDA and FDA build trust and credibility to shape the policies that govern us. We are dedicated to the promotion of the goals and education for the seasonings industry and the affiliated government liaisons and regulations pertaining to them. We endorse quality and safety standards compliant with acceptable handling and distribution within the international spice trade.
