About This Association

Since 1985, Habitat Louisville has been bringing our community together to build stable homes, strong relationships and healthy neighborhoods. Our homeownership program empowers low-income families to invest in themselves and invest in their communities. By providing a hand up, not a hand out, our homebuyers can build a path towards financial stability and a brighter future. In addition to our homeownership program, we believe in revitalizing and investing in our city’s most underserved neighborhoods. We work hand-in-hand with area residents to increase pride in their neighborhood and improve their quality of life. Through home repairs and beautification projects, our city’s most challenged communities are becoming healthier, safer and more sustainable. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the passion of our volunteers, we’re making an impact. Yet, there’s still more work to be done.
