About This Association

The Utah Association of Financial Services (UAFS) works to promote and foster the Utah financial services industry through effective leadership, member involvement, education, public affairs, media relations, strategic alliance development, and grassroots advocacy. Visionary companies have built UAFS to champion innovative financial services for Americans by expanding access to credit, guaranteeing consumer choice, and providing unique banking services. UAFS organizations, which include industrial banks, savings banks, and non-depository finance companies have grown to more than $241 billion dollars in assets and is one of Utah’s largest business sectors. UAFS members help drive Utah’s economic prosperity by bringing jobs and capital to the state’s economy as well as offering assistance to numerous charities and providing millions annually in grants and low-interest loans through the Community Reinvestment act (CRA). UAFS continually works with federal, state and local officials to ensure that Utah remains the place of choice for the nation’s financial service industry.
