Scottish Heritage Society of the Rochester Area

About This Association

There has been a Scottish cultural heritage group in Rochester NY since, at least, the 1850s. From the beginning, the organization was erudite, benevolent and forward thinking. There are records of Burns dinners, cultural promotion and assistance to the less fortunate. The current Society was incorporated as an IRS certified tax exempt educational group in 1997. It has a diverse group of members and is guided by a hard-working and dedicated board.
