About This Association

We are vigilant to protect and fight for PA Sheriffs’ rights to perform their sworn duty to protect and serve you, and all citizens of Pennsylvania, through legislation and the judicial system. We are dedicated to assisting our sixty-seven County Sheriffs in acquiring the education and training required for law enforcement officers. With your help and generosity, you can support the Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association in providing quality training statewide to supplement the training available to Sheriffs beyond their County budgets. Courtroom security updates, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Methamphetamine Lab Awareness training, Jail Evacuation, Improvised Explosive Devices, Courtroom Bombings, Flying While Armed Certification, and Deputy Involved Shooting and Critical Incident Management are just some examples of the training hosted and provided by the Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association that our Sheriffs have enthusiastically attended.
