Association of Concert Bands

About This Association

The mission of the Association of Concert Bands is to foster excellence in Concert Band music through performance, education, and advocacy. The Association of Concert Bands was formed to support adult concert, community, and municipal bands. Members include bands, adult musicians, conductors, composers, and corporations who are dedicated and equipped to serve the needs of musicians that perform in and/or lead adult concert bands. The Association of Concert Bands has formed Blanket Performance Licensing Agreements with both BMI and ACSAP for performance rights for its members and publishes a magazine, the ACB Journal, to exchange information among people involved in adult concert bands and sponsors many projects to fulfill our mission.
