About This Association
Planned in 1929, Wyndham Hills is an excellent example of the style of the Olmsted Brothers of Brookline, Massachusetts, a firm founded by the sons of Frederick Law Olmsted, the father of American landscape architecture well-known for his designs such as Central Park and Prospect Park in New York City. Built upon their father's vision of urban planning, the Olmsted Brothers was a prolific and influential firm in its own right, creating such well-known landscapes as the National Mall and White House grounds in Washington, D.C.
