About This Association

The Association of University Radiologic Technologists was founded in 1967 (AURT). In 1984 the name was changed to The Association of Educators in Radiological Sciences (AERS). June 10, 2006 membership voted to change the name to Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences (AEIRS).
