About This Association

Mission: To promote the profession of occupational therapy, serve the community through increasing the visibility of occupational therapy services, facilitate continuing education for the membership and promote safe, ethical and professional occupational therapy practice throughout the state. Vision: We envision that the Utah Occupational Therapy Association (UOTA) is a visible, dynamic, responsive, collaborative, outcome-driven organization ensuring the long-term viability of occupational therapy to meet the occupational needs of Utah society. Values: 1. Engaging the members and the community through effective communication. 2. Promoting continuing professional competency through quality education and research. 3. Creating visibility for the profession through assertive promotion of occupational therapy in the workplace and community.
