About This Association

The AHTCC was founded in 1988 to advocate to make the Housing Credit permanent, and quickly assumed a leading role in coordinating the efforts of many concerned stakeholders, both on Capitol Hill and throughout the country. The Housing Credit was made permanent in 1993. Since then, the AHTCC has been at the forefront of every major effort to protect, strengthen and expand the Housing Credit.
