About This Association
Young Astronauts is a STEM-based space-themed, pre-afterschool television show created by The White House in 1984 specifically to introduce our kids to the STEM disciplines. When kids ask “what is the Young Astronaut program all about?” we proudly say Young Astronauts is all about the wonders of space, the sciences needed and the teamwork required to go there; all presented by cadets their own age while flying above the earth in the Meteor, the first space academy for kids!
