About This Association
APUA is now under the auspices of the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC). APUA's specialised staff provides field consultations and lend specialised expertise to guide policy makers, provider organisations, and other stakeholders seeking to improve antimicrobial supply, use, and management decisions. Our leadership includes recognised medical and scientific experts, including Nobel laureates and members of national academies of medicine and science. The APUA local chapters serve as reliable resources for collection and dissemination of information and advocacy for appropriate antimicrobial access and management in these reforms. APUA also contracts and consults on national and global projects with partners.
